Goods Expiry Management

The Yunica Retail leverages a centralized, multi-channel Inventory Management, system across the organisation to keep track of expiry of goods. The Goods Expiry Management systems of the company are Cloud-hosted at the following URLs:

Typically, several non-perishable goods can be returned to respective vendors or suppliers. We have a back-to-back contract agreement with those vendors or suppliers for efficient Expiry Management.


Excluding only a few of the product vendors or suppliers, majority of fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy items, bakery products, etc. have a non-returnable item policy for their expired goods. Thence, we as retailers tend to buy only a limited quantity daily to reduce our losses as much as possible. However, it sometimes results into opportunity loss too. So, we have implemented Expiry Management system.
